Beeswax Wraps

Kia ora bloggers,

In our class we made Beeswax wraps they are like glad wrap but they are biodegradable and better for our planet. Today I will be showing you how to make them, but first you neend to know what to buy:
Beeswax pellets
100% cotton cloth
An iron
baking paper

  1. Grab an old towel and lay your towel on a table, then you need to place a sheet of baking paper on the towel.
  2.  Grab your 100% cotton cloth and cut it 30cm by 30cm, once you have done that you need to place it on the baking paper(make sure that your baking paper is bigger than the cloth).
  3. Grab a handful of beeswax pellets and distinguish them around your cloth. Now put another sheet of baking paper ontop of the cloth, Iron ontop of the baking paper and wait until the pellets have melted.
  4. Slowly take off the first sheet of baking paper and make sure that every thing melted and that it all covers the cloth. Peel the cloth off then wave it around so it drys faster, and now you have a Beeswax Wraps. PS: DON'T GO NEAR BEES

Here is my beeswax wrap.

Kia ora bloggers,

Do you use plastic bags? Well plastic bags are very bad for our planet, because like most plastic it can take more than 100 years to break down, so they will last longer than you! If you love sea creatures and wildlife like me you should stop using plastic bags because animals think that its food and it can be deady if its ingested. This is an infographic that I  made. Here are some things you can do to help.
