Mini film festival

Kia Ora Whanau, Our teacher gave us a task to make A little film that is less than a minute long and is about kindness. My brother and I made one of these “mini films” and it was so fun! The Director with me and The co-director was my brother, we were both actors. In this from the main idea of this film is to be kind to others and others will be kind to you. A little tip for you is that you should Re-watch each scene and go over the things you missed. Now the part that you and I have been waiting for the great reveal! Hope you enjoy!

  1. Kia ora Hasti. Awesome film! I love the way you captured your brother's thoughts. Thanks for giving everyone else a tip about re-watching each scene. What was the most fun part of making this film?

  3. Fantastic work with your film Hasti! It's great to see you collaborating with your brother to create this. I really like that your message was clear, particularly how you drove it home with your voice over at the end. It was also great to see that you carefully considered the types of film shots that would work best. I think it was a great idea to add in your suggestion about watching and editing your scenes in your blog post, as it is such a critical part of the film making process.

Prior to filming your movie, did you and your brother storyboard or discuss what you were going to do in each scene?

I'm looking forward to us returning to school and creating our movies for the Ako Hiko Film Festival!

  4. Aloha Hasti,

I really enjoyed reading your post about kindness. What i enjoyed was the last bit, I enjoyed that part because it was cute and funny to. It was funny because you dropped your ipad and held his arms. I have a question how did you come up with this idea and how did you do all the transitions and credits to it.Maybe next time you should post some more with your brother. Ka pai Hasti!
