One of hay park schools 3 values. Today I will be telling you 5 ways to show RESPECT in the class room.

I can show RESPECT by:

1. Actively listening
2. Putting my hand up when I want to talk
3. Picking up rubbish
4. Not talking over the teacher
5.  RESPECTING other people's personal space

Over the next few weeks I am focusing on being polite.

Just because I am a girl Doesn't mean I don’t like sports Doesn’t mean I do ballet Doesn’t mean I don’t like being messy Doesn’t mean I don’t like the color blue I am an amazing female. Just because I am a year 4 Doesn’t mean I am not good at writing Doesn’t mean I don’t like doing things year 6 & 5 do Doesn’t mean I always copy off other people  Doesn’t mean I’m not responsible enough to own a chrome book I am the best me that there is. Just because I am short Doesn’t mean people have the right to pick on me Doesn’t mean I’m not smart Doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion Doesn’t mean I admire tall people  I am perfect the way I am.

Basketball

Hello bloggers,

To day we did some basketball. We were with coach ( I will call him " coach " because I do not know his name. ) We learnt how to dribble, pivot and jump stop. In case if you do not know what those words mean I can tell you. 

Dribbling is where you continuously bonce the ball with only one hand and with most skills in basketball you have got to look up.

Pivoting is where you keep one foot still and the other foot keeps rotating around you.

Last but not least jump stop. Jump stop is where you squat down with your knees over your feet and you have your hands out.  

Basketball was astonishing I found it really enjoyed it. Here is a video of my class at basketball.
